From BIgbone on Juanma -Gamboa :Given Lopez is flawed too plus vulnerable to handspeed, their fight could be a short and explosive affair - Hagler-Hearns at best, Pacquiao-Hatton at worst, I can see both happening, but just have no idea who'd win.

I do agree that Yuri's pro game is fundamentally flawed, and some bad habits he can't seem to get rid of. The thing is: he's a good kid and a hard worker now that he has the right people around him to keep mentally focused, but technical mistakes will only go away with an experienced pro trainer who can handle such athletic talent. But I don't see a change in the corner, so I consider his career a time bomb hoping to put a solid resume together before it goes off. And as long as it lasts, we the fans will be entertained. Cool with me.

    Garfios on Juanma-Gamboa:--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You can have all the technique you want, but speed is the name of the game, Gamboa is getting better every time out, he is more poised and has settle a bit, I'll say that before Lopez lands one of those bombs he will had receive 4 or 5 from Gamboa, which could b the difference, in any case it will b a war, Gamboa is not a counter puncher and will move forward all the time, same with Lopez, IMO whoever can take the opponents punch will b the winner.

Friday night on SHOWTIME at 11PM ET/PT In the 10-round main event, undefeated featherweight prospect and Cuban Olympian Luis Franco (8-0, 5 KOs) will look to take another giant step towards challenging for a world title in 2011 when he takes on veteran Leonilo Miranda (26-2, 25 KOs).

And they said the Cubans are fighting tomatoes can, probably hasn't being a fighter that has fought the kind of competition that Gamboa and Rigondeaux has face in such a small amount of fights.

Don't worry Garfios, when Solis beats Vitaly all of us will have a wonderful time reading back to back non-stop excuses.

That's why I created my Thread... :yep

PS, Franco is very good. He will stop Miranda or beat him by UD. Franco is our third best featherweight!
