eeeeerrrrrrmmmmmm,jim, you can't say groomed in a forum,about ****stanis,its not cricket and its racist:nono
so has Ariza now dropped his claims of Team Khan stealing contracts? I don't understand why now there is an issue with payment? Khan has been working with Ariza for some years!
Dad's are a nuisance in the relationship between a fighter and his trainer right down to the grass root level of amateur boxing. Can't believe it still effects elite fighters.
Its a terrible situation to be in really and the problem really lies with that Asian ethic of keeping it in the family and "spreading" the rewards. In society in many cases i admire this family ethic but this undoubtedly is detrimental to Khan. His father obviously wields too much power and because of the way he is brought up it is impossible for Khan to remove this family tie from a business relationship point of view. I hope that Khan sees sense and tries to take more control over his career before it is too late
According to an article in the Times, the Khan Management team were worried that Ariza was becoming too influential with Khan. Perfect excuse to tear up the contract and not pay. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/ot...nfluential-conditioning-coach-Alex-Ariza.html Alex and Amir seemed very close. Big shame Amir has sold him down the river like a little chicken s***
From the 24/7 with Pac and now this, it seems Ariza is a man who will tell them what is on his mind. He is happy to bite the hand that feeds him. Good on him.
Freddie Roach's next move will give us an idea what's gone on here. At the moment it's just guesswork.
Despite what I orginally thought - Khan's team being money-hungry, new information reveals that may not actually be the case. To put it simply, money was not the problem, instead it was the way Alex conducted himself in regards to a new contract, that put a dent to the relationship.
Rico, I personally believe that is just them making up excuses and twisting what actually happened to make it seem that Ariza was going about his dealings in a bad way. "Hassling" is a very subjective thing, which is easily twisted when telling the story how you want.
I don't know. I'm just going to wait and see how this develops, and for Roach to maybe shed some light.
I think during a particularly gruesome training session, Khan became infuriated with Ariza's motivational taunting, leading to a physical altercation between the two, which sort of morphed into a sexual one. And now Khan just can't man-up and face Ariza, so this charade of contracts, and money is being used as a smokescreen to keep the truth buried deep in the closet. But this is pure speculation on my part.
good post. if khan has a hand in this then he's a greedy ****. if he doesn't then he's a stupid **** who's giving idiots too much control...
Or you could just wait and see what Khan's lot have to say. I'm pretty certain that paying Ariza for his work, is not an issue for them.
