Seems like a pointless fight. It looks like an easy workout before the title fight but these things have a habit of going wrong. Adameck`s mind will be on the Wlad fight and not on beating Mcbride.Im not saying he will lose it just that it seems a pointless fight to take.He could end up with a bad cut which then interferes with his training for the Wlad fight.
This is like the third or fourth thread about this. It wasn't Adamek's choice. His camp made the choice, as they wanted a tall low risk tune up for the big show with Klitschko in September.
Who cares, he's fighting the K-bros in September, while Haye is pulling up his tail and retiring in shame and largely irrelevant . :rofl
Exactly right. And being that Mcbride is fairly low risk, this will give Adamek a chance to try & load up on his combinations against another big man. He has to start hitting harder, so he'll be able to get one of the Klits attention in there. This fight makes sense to me... Speed, combo's, power & lots on movement & he'll become HW Champion! :!:
Wasn't that like 2 months ago and his fight with Wlad is going to be in the next 9 months ... what is problem with fighting in between? ... is that (in Haye's words) "too close" for hims to become ready for Wlad in September ... or maybe there is an indication Adamek fought only once in 2010 so he shouldn't be more active than WBA belt holder (whos level of activity is a new standard to the boxing word)?
