What did you think of brandon rios vs anthony peterson?

    HBO tried to build up peterson with all that promo stuff about him living in the streets much like they did with victor ortiz and showed nothing about rios.

    At the time i didn't know who rios was but when i saw margarito and vargas walking in with him for some reason i felt "damn this kid isn't coming to lose" and he proved me right he kept coming forward backing peterson up and took his heart away, peterson got frustrated and started low blowing but because he's a 'slick' ;) fighter it didn't matter but rios never complained once and proceeded to beating the **** out of peterson.

    that fight instantly made me a rios fan.

    That was the first time I had watched Rios, too. I became a fan.

    But then a few Elie Seckbach videos later, I thought..... “Good fighter, but what a *****.”

    Reminds me of Tony in the way he walks through shots to wear his opponents down.

    Wow ya i was so impreesed with rios he took away all petersons speed and athleticism from him....peterson was so used to espn type oppeonents'....man last year both these brothers took steps up and lost.....they are descent fighters thou the petersons they got all the skill....it's their heart and mental game that needs work

    Rios beat the **** outta Anthony. I'd like to see Rios fight his brother Lamont that would be a great fight.

    I don't like the peterson bros.

    I became Rios fan afterwards too. He took Peterson heart in that fight. I don't think I have seen a fighter throw so many intentional low blows like that before.
