Not by any stretch of the imagination was that fight a clinic. It was a close fight, and one in which the majority who scored the fight had Maidana winning. Here's the fight and my scorecard...

    115-113 Maidana

I disagree. Usually KO artists tend to get underrated, while so called "slick" fighters with speed tend to get overrated.

:nono Kotelnik took Maidana's best shots in the 9th round and even started trading with Maidana in the last minute of the round. He was slightly hurt but quickly recovered and his legs were fine. Kotelnik's chin is iron.

Khan was battered for two minutes without throwing back but was in very serious trouble only in the last 10-15 seconds when his legs were suddenly gone.

    Really?

Here's the rbr from the scene http://www.*******.com/forums/showthread.php?t=243669

    Most have Kotelnik winning.

It was a close fight and could have gone either way. Maidana just didn't do enough to take the belt.

The man's either beaten or given pure hell to every top 140 pounder they've put him in against.

He's not great, but he's a very good and very entertaining fighter.

Bradley fights nothing like Kotelnik and Khan. With Bradley being mostly feather-fisted, the more I think about this matchup, the more I lean towards Maidana. He won't have to go chasing Bradley, he will be right in his face the whole night. The question will be whether Maidana can get the space to get his shots off with any power. If he can he knocks Bradley the **** out.

Is Bradley the most overrated fighter on this board ?

So kotelnik dominates alexander and bradley struggles to a headbutt victory against alexander and suddenly bradley beats everyone ?

I just don't buy in to Bradley at all and don't understand why people do.

Having a nice six pack doesn't make you good.

Bradley would get ktfo by maidana and dominated and ko'd by khan.

Stop overrating the feather fisted walking ko midget Bradley.

Wouldn't be one bit surprised if Bradley ducks Maidana and khan.

Kotelnik beat Alexander, but was cheated by criminal judges. Everyone knows Kotelnik beat Alexander.

Maidana is not overrated, not at all.

He brings excitement to the sport, he definitely can punch and can take a punch. I dont see why its hard to imagine him beating Bradley (odds are against him tho). He almost beat Khan, whom i think beats Bradley if they fight.

Wow. You follow my posts very closely, don’t you?

Those comments I made about Alexander eventually becoming the king of 140, were a long time ago – before the Kotelnik fight I think. But in the lead-up to his latest one, I picked Bradders to win in a close affair. Maybe my comments have always been biased towards Alexander, but I guess that’s because I’m an Alexander fan. Against Maidana I think he’ll have more room to work, and when he’s eventually dragged on the inside, it won’t as gruelling as it was against a butting-Bradley. And being a southpaw, he could make it difficult for Maidana to read the exchanges, especially the right hooks, like against Ortiz.

I definitely think he earned his stripes...he is not the most technically sound boxer but he is a fighter with a big heart!!! And power to boot!!!

I would love to see him fight Alexander next, that would be an awesum fight
