I ask this because it is no doubt in my mind that AA has helped khan in a major way, but I see a lot of people saying that AK really shouldnt have parted ways with AA...I just feel that If AK feels that he is conditioned well, then he can do what he has been doing with AA for the last few camps on his own... Granted, its going to be different now because he actually has to monitor and pay attention but at the same time, if he wants to be the best, this is going to show how bad he wants it by showing his level of discipline. Whaddoyouthink?
you need a conditioning coach to focus on the conditioning so as the fighter can focus one hundred percent on training for the fight.
hhmm intriguing question... very hard to gauge something like this... if he does happen to loose in his next few fights everyone will invariably blame the loss of ariza. you might even here the khan camp say that the training camp didn't go well etc etc. very hard to discern the truth from the spin with these things... in any case there are other guys out there he can call upon if needs them and if relations are strained with people its prob best for all concerned to part company..
is it really that hard to find another decent conditioning coach? its not like he cant afford it. and conditioning isn't exactly a major weakness of his
I dont know, there are other conditioning coaches that are capable of doing the job so whether he NEEDS Ariza is up for debate. However without Ariza's work his title would have been taken from him, and his top level boxing career possibly would have been over, in the tenth round against Marcos Maidana and Khans handlers/family should show some appreciation of that.
Well i agree with you... in that sense...it takes a lot off of the fighter to deal with...but at the same time...it still can be done....maybe at this point in his career, until he gets more seasoned, he should have one. It doesnt have to be AA. Yes i know manny kept him, so it must mean something good, but manny also isnt the brightest crayon either....(Arum, GBP, Kontz)
Well Pac seems to be fond of him and is thriving.....i dont see why he would switch. But they are two different people so what Pac and Ariza do may not work for Khan.
And it also makes a difference in their fighting skills too. Its like everyone else was saying, he doesnt necessarily need Ariza(pac) its just that Ariza is glorified because of pac. I think any CC could have had the ariza status. I just that to much is being made of him leaving...I do admit, its surprising...I wonder who is going to start spilling beans?
Because Khan's Father is running the show, that's why! Because they don't wanna give Ariza what Alex thinks his Services & Expertise is worth. Khan making out there were things in Camp that he didn't like. Has Manny ever said anything similar to this about Ariza? NO! Its only a matter of time before there's a Dispute of some sort with Roach over money or something!
