Does anyone know about Diaz status right now? I know he got married but he has potential and heart to box some good fighters right now..
If I was Diaz Iw ouldn't come back to boxing. Hes made good money plus he graduated from school already. His life is set as it is.
Isn't he trying to go to law school? I think the guy took too many beatings at an early stage, I don't see much left without him taking time to regroup
I think he'll come back. He's still got it in. His Trainer is just all wrong for him. Why would you teach a 'baby bull' to not fight? It's what he's made for atsch
He already graduated from law school. I don't see much left in him neither....never really though he was special anyways. One way of fighting and can't fight when cut.
I'd rather he hung them up really. He's a good guy with a bright future ahead of him, with a style that didn't bode for a long career anyhow. Getting rocked by Paulie at 140 was a warning shot I hope he takes.
Oh yeah of course I'll watch him fight. I'm just saying I think its better for him to leave the game.
I disagree with a lot of whats being said here , off night against Campbell and beaten by a current legend of the sport twice , and he was ahead on the cards and in momentum in there first meeting !!!! Looking at the top ranked LW's in the world now ive got Diaz giving most of them more than a hand full , we need guys like Diaz to stick around the sport , he's entertaining and skilled , **** law school :deal
I thought it was a off night too, but fact is Diaz simply can't fight when being cut. A cut for Diaz automatically means a lost. Every fight he has lost has been due to a cut. He got a gift in the Katisids gift. That could have went either way or been a draw. You give him a chance against Soto, JMM, R. Guerrero, Rios, Acosta or Urbano? Cuz I sure don't.
I agree, life becomes before boxing. That's 1 thing I admire mayweather for, there's nothing cool about punishment
The thing is he can at least fight at least a match or 2 before calling it enough and retiring for good he has a descent resume and has "Fight of the year" he does boxing aside of law school so I dont see him boxing forever he aint the best but as far as entertaining and delivering a hell of a match hes worth watching
