:blood This by far the weakest era of the Heavyweight division...What are you talking about...If these guys could get in top shape it might give them a better shot at a vitcory.
I agree that Peter is underrated here on the forums. Peter is 34-1 excluding the losses to Wlad & Vitali, which any heavyweight would lose to, so you really can't hold those losses against him too much. His weight is also back in check, as Peter has been no higher than 243 in his last 5 fights (for comparison Peter was 265 in his loss to Chambers). Peter at under 245 has a very good shot at beating any heavyweight not named Klitschko.
Peter sucks. He's slow as a slug, does not have skills, and his "power" is only displayed against tomato cans. His best win is against the ancient mummified corpse of Maskaev. Anyone who says otherwise is probably just his mom.
Well said. Embarrassing to see someone writing that "he's waste of space". He hasn't ducked tough fights and was the last one to knockdown Wlad. I hope the very best for his career and will watch every fight. Peter/Arreola would be so sweet.. And both guys are able to give highlight reel post-fight interviews!
I'd really like to see that fight. I bet Peter would take it...but even if Arreola wanted it too, I don't think Arreola's management would let him at this point in his career. I could be wrong though...
Toney I was a robbery, everybody knows this. Toney, a natural MW/SMW, fat, old and past his best, went toe to toe with Peter, took his best shots and outboxed him. I'm not even sure if Peters win against Toney in the rematch was a good win. Because Toney obviously was in bad shape that night.
Arreolas 'management' didn't want to put him against a shot to pieces James Toney... even tho both fighters wanted the fight. Arreolas management didn't even try to make excuses, claiming Toney would be 'high risk, low reward'. They put him in against Manuel Quezada instead. Talk about believing in your fighter...
