Petersons got Team Khan by the balls now...serves them right for being so ****ing stingy...and trying to play loads of boxers against each other...I hope he takes at least 450,000 from them!...i wont pay for that PPV, and if enough people watch it in bars instead of home, it couild be a fight that makes no money...or better yet actually costs Vali money!

The biggest joke of negotiations seen. Last summer Khan was supposed to fight in the UK but they couldn't get a fight. It might happen again

 

Especially when it's such an uninspiring, if credible, opponent...and the deal should have been done weeks ago before all this speculation with McCloskey, Witter, Prescott, Katsidis etc.

 

Fight or not fight, it sure has made all these guys more known. McCloskey got the biggest publicity boost he could have hoped for

I mean, why can't he just fight Prescott? He wouldn't ask for too much money, it'd be a sellable fight for both HBO and Sky Sports, it'd get people talking. There's absolutely no reason he shouldn't take this fight over a Corley or a Judah.

 

Speaking of casamayor, what was the actual reason he didn't fight in the uk last year? The options were prescot, casamayor and kats right. Why didn't it happen?

Was it to do with the misconception he was ducking maidana?
