can froch ever be an atg?

I think he should be a HOF'er.. because we all know he's gonna fight at least three more fights and give it his all.... if he were to retire today though he WOULD NOT BE A HOF'er.. but I know he'll take on Johnson and probably Ward so I honestly think he's in the HOF....

Now if he beats Johnson, Ward and Bute, is is defly an alltime great... He will defly hold a spot in the top 50 doing that.. just beating Ward would make him close but wins over Ward and Bute puts him in hands down... beating Dawson, or Pascal again or Hopkins, or Cloud would, IMHO, shoot him up to top 30 alltime.. if he were to really win a title at LHW against their best opposition.. that would be a feat and his resume would be insane.. like close to a Hopkins level resume so why not put him top 30?? but I don't see him doing that... but if he does.. he has to be considered top 30... anything more than that is truly icing on the cake...

MY PREDICTIONS... he finishes as a HOF'er but maybe misses the top 50... maybe top 70.... but only time can tell...

This Froch circle jerk is unbelievable. One solid win over Abraham and everyone goes from calling him a bum (who was gonna get KTFO by Abraham, yes don't lie, if you're not English you were saying it) to the best in the division and future ATG? He was lucky to get that win over Dirrell, who didn't have 20 fights under his belt but managed to make him look like a bum. He might get past Glen Johnson, but Ward takes him apart, and all the sheeple on ESB will go back to calling him a bum, like they were before the Abraham fight. All will be back to normal.

 

sure he has the opportunity to be an ATG, will he succeed? i doubt it. There are plenty of great fights to be made at 168 and 175.

 

If you can't respect Froch's balls or his achievements over the past couple of years, you ain't a fan of boxing. As others have said, he's not the best fighter out there and he has his limitations, but he'll fight anyone and he's done pretty good considering. The mad ******* went to the states to fight someone of Taylor's calibre for his first defence ffs, when every other boxer active today would play it safe apart from maybe Hopkins. If Ward was so confident he'd take anyone apart he'd occasionally leave his hometown just like Froch has since he won his title.

His resume at this point has already taken him way past 'bum' status, regardless of what his critics say. Maybe not HoF or ATG, but he's definitely no bum.

 

This is exactly what I said in my post. What is your quarrel? I didn't say anything about his balls. Anyway, people are crazy overrating him. Come back to me in a year when people are back to calling him a bum because he's lost. (In not saying hes a future ATG or bum, I'm saying the truth is in the middle)

I should make a thread about how Zab Super Judah have been a ATG if he had beat Kostya Tszyu, Mayweather , Baldomir, Cotto.... I Personally don't see the ATG potential in him. If he does take dawson, bute, ward, johnson he can be....But that is a BIG IF

 

Truth be told, only a few thousand people from Nottingham saw any potential in him at all before Pascal and he was just another British/Euro level fighter to the rest of us. He's probably the biggest over-achiever in boxing at the moment considering his technique and I hope he beats everyone on that list if only because he has the balls to fight anyone. I'm a big Calzaghe fan but Froch is taking a royal dump all over Joe's resume at this point.

 

I think its actually more impressive if a guy that is flawed manages to become a atg then a very skilled fighter who is expected to become one. Ward vs froch is this.

 

I think alot of people are under the Arthur "I'll eat all your jabs" Abraham fight spell. Froch is not that good. Never have never will. Yeah, he can be a ATG in terms of Balls, I must admit that. The next 2 years will be decisive for the 168 devision. I don't see him wining to the listed above, actually I see him loosing to most of them.
