He was only a little heavier then he was vs mike and that is a great performance for lewis fans. LEnnox underestimated Vitali sure he was on the decline but not shot. He got lucky that night and was smart enough to know when to got out.

He'd been inactive for over a year at the time and he'd been inactive for over a year for the fight before that aswell. I'd call that basically being semi-retired.

I actually think it was Vitaly who got lucky that night as opposed to Lewis.

Had the fight continued Vitaly's cut simply wouldn't have held up; even if the referee was more lenient the end was either going to be TKO on cuts at a later round or Lewis would have continued to land with increasing regularity and forcing a more decisive stoppage that would have damaged Klitschko on many levels.

The stoppage came at a convenient time for Klitschko, he was still competitive enough with Lewis to leave with his head held high and profit from the loss for the remainder of his career.

When you have a tough and hard opponent it requires a lot more work no matter what condition you're in. Work requires a lot of oxygen, which can easily result in "gassing", especially for a big man.

I dont think he got lucky. He was landing that hand over and over again
and heck no he wasnt shot. Guys that shot couldnt stick with a guy like vit at that pace but the footmovement was gone.

Its like patrick ewing say your mind tells you you can do certain things and you need too. but your body wont let you anymore.

Vit has a helluva chin but couldnt get out of the way of the rights. Im glad the ref stopped it. Vitali felt he would turn it up and win but even if he did turn it up a notch how many more right hands could that eye take before hes blind?

  10. lennox only had a week to train and emanuel steward sad that one of things that causd him problems is that he was so used to having a height advantage he wasnt used to be being the smaller guy in the ring and vitali was out jabbing him

Its all about people's stupid agendas and people cannot standing the fact they are wrong. Sad, stupid, boring individuals bringing up threads again and again because they are still crying about what went down. How reality didn't conform to their stupid opinions. Just like some sad gits cannot bear the fact that Bhop lost to Calzaghe.

People want fighters they hate to fight over and over again until they lose and it suits them.

Haters wanted Lennox to fight on and on getting older til he lost like every old fighter. Then they could say he was never that good to begin with. However Lennox was smart, realized that a second Klitchko fight would be a 50-50 fight and got out at the right time.

Khan haters claim that 'Khan nearly got beaten by Maidana' amd they want him to refight him again and again until he loses.

Fact is both Klitchko and Lewis were great and came out of the fight well. I have got big respect for both of them.

I remember hearing Emanuel Stewart saying that Lewis trained very hard for the Klit fight.

At 38 and 6lb over his last fight is no where being old and fat. He definitely underestimated Vitali, got lucky but still retired as Undisputed word champion. Old and fat you could potentioally call Foreman on his comeback, yet he still managed to become a world champ in the so called golder era of heavyweights. Move on man.

Lennox gases frequently after meals, he is lactose intolerant but can't give up the chocolate milk. It was actually his ass that Koed Golota, recall the nose and eye twitching as he ran away.

38 would is old for fighters like Tyson or Bowe, but guys like Lennox are called late bloomers. At 38, Lewis was just slightly past prime, no where near being washed up and far from fat.
