This is usually the first place to hear a rumour and that would be one of the best british fights of the year!

What else could he put on this card?, great fight, but not really enough to carry an event on its own I don't think

Hmm if JM signs for Warren why would he make that match immediately? He would have a potential superstar from Manchester and a proven ticket-seller from London. They can make him two big pots of money instead of one. When did Warren last match two of his own big draws? Not great business sense.

good fight, think murray might be a bit too big and relentless for mitchell to deal with. he should go back to super feather imo.

that being said, murray is brave as hell but just doesnt move his head enough to win consistently at world level imo. id like to see him in a few shoot outs all the same (not too many)

Did JM sign for Warren, I thought he was still a free agent?

And, why take the promoter perspective and think of how much he could trouser - lets put the focus on the best fight for the sport - it isnt as if we are spoiled with 50-50 fights every week for our sky subs. That is the number one problem with boxing - not enough competitive fights on the cards.

I agree - just explaining why IF he signs with Warren (I did say if) why it wont happen soon. Like Cleverly-Bellew wont and David Price-Tom Dallas wouldnt. Promoters tend to match two of their own only when one is deemed expendable - Jennings v Brook and Smith v DeGale two notable example. So if u r desperate for this fight pray JM signs elsewhere as Im not sure Mitchell is thought expendable yet

You did say IF - that is fair enough. When will Sky grow a pair and force these promoters to make the fights or tear up their contracts and tender to some who will do the job?

Guessing theyre happy as long as the bills do good numbers. They do have all the power though as the only significant player in the market. We want Clev-Bellew but Clev-Braehmer sells, as did Mitchell-Katsidis when we wanted Murray-Mitchell
