Why are all these fighters making a big deal about the beat wlad fight vitali and give wlad a rematch you have to fight vitali anyway if you want be the undisputed champion basically all their signing is a rematch clause for wlad and most these guys are going to get past wlad so why complain? :huh
That's so true. What an excellent point! David Haye don't want to unify the division he just wants to fight b c d class fighters instead.
Fans should complain because it's stopped many big fights from happening. I don't give a **** how much boxers make, I just want to see the best fights possible. If the Klitschko's offers are stopping that, I have an issue with the contracts, as should every boxing fan.
If you want to be THE champ you have to fight them anyway. So looking at it that way, from the ultimate goal of being Champ (and shouldn't that be the goal for all fighters?) it sounds like a dream contract to me. Well, at least to those who have had dreams of being a world champion boxer since childhood. Those that dream of being a movie star...probably not so much.
Only pussies like Haye complain about it or people who aren't ready (and probably never will be) like Povetkin. Real fighters like Adamek step up to the plate and take their biggest fight and the biggest payday of their lives. The Klitschkos are the champions, they have the right to be a bit more demanding in their negotiations despite what some people think.
yea your just gonna end up having to fight vitali anyways who gives a **** you say your the best then you can go in there beat wlad 2 times and vitali.
You're an absolute fanboy. Seriously, the worst type of poster on ESB, ones who will never ever consider criticizing their fighter. You have guys turning down contracts left and right, yet you say they are "dream contracts"? You're a fanboy, pure and simple. There's no debate about it. You're the worst type of boxing fan on this site and I truly mean that. If you and other fans didn't have this adoring attitude of everything the Klitschko's do, we'd likely have seen bouts with Toney, Tua, Rahman and Briggs before they happened, Ruiz, Valuev, Povetkin, Haye and more. Yet you defend this. Why? Do you enjoy bouts like Sosnowski where the opponent has absolutely no chance? Posters like you are a big problem with boxing. You keep on holding your hands on begging for more, whilst the greedy boxers keep filling it up with **** and after, you'll say it smells good too.
Their contracts are designed to keep as many titles within the 'family' as possible. The Klits get 2 extra shots to get a title back when everyone else in boxing gets 1 maximum and always against the same fighter, so what they are demanding is more than any other champion in history has ever asked for as far as I know. As for fighters like Adamek 'stepping up', he's a contender, it's what he's supposed to do. Haye may be full of ****, but he's also a two-weight champion and he brings far more to the table than anyone else in the division apart from the Klits, regardless of how he got himself into that position.
Adamek has a better CV than Haye does. Haye's a loudmouthed ducker, Adamek backed up any talk he had by actually accepting a fight and being serious about it.
Yep. The thing is though, it ultimately hurts them. They accept poor fights and turn a blind eye when the Klitschko's bull**** makes good fights impossible. How many of their deluded fanbase have openly criticized the Chisora bout? And they say nothing about bouts with good fighters not happening.
