Dude, you are stupid. I said Top Rank should contact Al Haymon, not Mayweather. That is HOW BUSINESS IS DONE. If you want the fight to get made, you have your management team, contact the other management team. It is a simple concept.

Yes, you are a ****ing idiot.

You just said his comment was bull****.

What evidence do you have to prove he was not avoided? You don't have any.

Your opinion is not any more valid than his is. The only thing that makes you THINK it is valid is the legion of *******s. Just be real, Pacquiao is a more likable character, and that influences people in their perceptions. I'm a Pacquiao fan, and I admit the guy is much more likable than Mayweather.

I don't let that influence my perception of the "boxing business" though like you do.

I know how business is done, but you're calling me stupid for suggesting Mayweather and his team do the exact opposite...to get in touch with Top Rank about those possible bouts seen as he was the one who was "retired".
My post was very clear to understand.

****ing ******! (seen as you feel the need to insult).

You said "Mayweather" not "Al Haymon." Yes, you are stupid for putting the fate of potential bouts on the fighters and not the promoters. Bob Arum is a ****ing snake, seriously. Anybody who defends his actions in boxing are pieces of trash themselves as far as I am concerned.

You are a moron. You just said it yourself: Mayweather was retired. So wouldn't you contact him first considering he is "retired" and lure him out with a lucrative offer? Idiot. Why would Mayweather contact anybody if he was "taking a break/retired/whatever?" You would contact HIM, not the other way around.

You have still ducked the question: If SRL could be dragged out of retirement to fight Hagler, why could they not do the same with Mayweather? You act like the guy dropped off the face of the planet or something. Completely idiotic.

Of course I said Mayweather, but surely you don't believe I meant Mayweather personally...stop assuming ****.

I didn't duck no question. But you are still suggesting that Mayweather needs to be contacted for a bout to happen. If Mayweather wanted any of those bouts in that period of time he could have said so...it's not all down to Top Rank getting in touch with Mayweather like you are claiming.

If I remember correctly, a number of boxers including Cotto had Mayweather's name in their mouths. Like I said, if Mayweather wanted to be boxing in that period...he would have been, it's as simple as that.

Floyd is your ultimate manufactured product. He has the right people around him who tried to build him up to be a star by making all the right fights. they followed the blueprint perfectly but floyd never became the kind of star they hoped and he hoped. Manny Pacquiao is the real star who can sell out football stadiums. Floyd and his team are just a bunch of bulljivers.

It's all over for Floyd now that Manny Pacquiao is in town. There's a new sheriff in town and it's Manny Pacquiao. FLoyd hit the road.

Top Rank never approached Mayweather, and Mayweather never approached Top Rank to put those bouts together. Cotto, and Margarito's names are not on his resume, and it hurts his resume above 140lbs.

Clottey shouldn't be on anyone's list. All he did was win a vacant welterweight belt. At least Zab and Baldomir held lineal championships. Clottey even found a way to lose to Baldomir, and he still makes their lists. wtf

Manny is even worse than Floyd is. Ever since getting with Arum, Manny has been going downhill.
Pacquiao used to be a great warrior, taking on Barrera and Marquez back to back and facing Morales despite his loss, but he got with Arum around 2006 and you can see the bull**** follow after it.

He fell off after the cotto fight. People want to believe that they're fortunate enough to be witnessing the best ever during their lifetime, and emmanuel is currently being used to fill that void.

That was a copy and paste job from some other thread. It was to kind of back up my point of how a win against Cotto and Margarito at certain points would enhance Mayweather's resume at 147lbs greatly...someone suggested that neither would enhance it because Mayweather is/was out of their league, which like I said, is nonsense.
