call me crazy, i always pick the boxer over the brawler.devon will stick and move and counter.madiana will press and press and press and land here in there, but maybe one punch is all it will take to stop devon dead in his tracks.

Alexander has no problem with strong, power punching brawlers, who have a limited skill set (Maidana). The last time he fought a guy with a limited skill set, who was a strong brawler, he KO'd him, impressively. Maidana has no attribute that has given Alexander problems in the past. Lets not forget Alexander seems to take a good shot so far as well also.

I give Alexander a shot at outboxing Maidana to a decision win.

But then again... If I was Devon's manager I would'nt go anywhere near that fight right now... Kotelik made him look ordinary,,, Bradley made him look like a *****,,, All he needs now is to get KTFO by Maidana and his career will really be in the toilet.

Going on both their last fights, being there biggest fights to date, I'd pick a relentless warrior with as much power as Maidana has, even if he is a bit limited, over a proven quitter like Alexander.

The onus should be on Alexander to prove he could handle Maidana, not the other way round. We know Maidana can make a fight of it no matter how good a boxer his opponent is.

I think Maidana would pile on the pressure as he did Khan, and would eventually get Alexander in deep water as he did khan. I can see Alexander folding and folding quickly once this happens. Maidana by mid-late stoppage for me

You are absolutely correct my friend. And on top of it Alexander depends on his legs for defense.

I would be SHOCKED to see Alexander take the fight.....but he won't win it. He gets stopped and he gets stopped early.

Good style for Alexander. Until he has problem with brawler then I would pick him based on his power and fast hands.

Alexander will win a decision...it'll look like Dirrell VS. Abraham
