Sergio Mora vs. Bryan Vera & Charles Hatley vs. Chris Chatman RBR

Round 6

Mora throws a right hand and then looks at it like he got something gross on it. WTF was that? :? Did Vera have snot hanging out? Why is Mora worried about what's on his glove, when he's down in a must-win fight?

Vera comes forward, pressuring out of the crouch and eats a few long jabs and right hands from a cornered Mora. Vera gets inside but eats a few looping counter rights. Vera feints and Mora reacts, sliding along the ropes. They clinch and get broken right up. Vera swings wildly at Mora's body with can openers. They clinch and Vera tosses a rabbit punch. Another clinch and Mora eats an elbow. Vera getting DIRTY! Mora is pushed to the ropes and tapped on the body. Mora's cut and puffed by his left eye. Hook to the body by Mora. He presses Vera against the ropes and shoeshines the body, Vera pushes back and whacks him behind the head.

Most of what Vera connected clean with was illegal (rabbit punches, elbows). That's a Mora round.

 

Round 7

Mora slips and blocks several punches from an excited Vera, then pauses to jaw with Joe & Teddy. Vera runs in with a vicious lead left hook that Mora evades. Mora is leaned up against the ropes and trying to get a shoulder on Vera coming in, but Vera is putting his forearms out to keep Mora straightened out as a target for his short punches. They hold and hit and break cleanly when asked. Mora again gets an arm behind Vera's neck. Vera has a jab ducked and then clinches himself as Mora gets off a flurry. Mora ducks another Vera jab and gets in to grab him. Vera pushes him on the ropes and lands a straight combo that pushes Mora backfirst over the top rope. Mora is nodding at Vera now, and it's getting chippy. They slug away at close range, and Vera uses his strength to get Mora up on the ropes. Mora is cut over both eyes (left from a punch, right from a butt)

 

He's paying for it now; instant karma.
