Round 8

Vera is keeping his jab in Mora's face, and taking nice quick and even strides to stay squared up on him. Mora is doing his Gumby routine and leaning back against the ropes only to slingshot back trying to catch Vera. Both men land some clean punches, back and forth. Vera leads with an uppercut and then spins it around as an overhand right. Over and under, he keeps working the right hand as Mora tries to grab but can only get the left arm tied up. Vera keeps pressuring and sticking that jab in Mora's face.

 

Tessitore is trying to make it sound like this could be close.

This isn't Mora-Mosley, Joe!

Wait...that's horribly depressing. BRYAN VERA is doing far, far better against this guy than Sugar Shane Mosley (or Vernon Forrest the first time). :sad2

 

Round 9

Vera keeps laying the pressure on thick. Mora is getting walked along the perimeter and trapped in corners, flicking out lead right counters to get himself some purchase to turn and/or step out. Vera has a lead right ducked and is countered cleanly across the chin a few times. Vera keeps leaning the top of his head against Mora's chest and trying to get off some headshots but Mora is getting some precise body shots in and tapping the sides of Vera's head while also smartly pushing down on it so Vera can't see what he's doing. Mora is working him over on the inside.

Yes he is getting beaten and has clearly lost most rounds. Read my original ****ing post again you twit.

Mora landed the few actual clean punches. All Vera hit Mora with cleanly were elbows and rabbit punches in the clinch.
