Because he prefers low risk, high reward fights at this stage in his career, if he can't get a third Pac fight. Though I'm questioning whether he really wanted the Pac fight at all, allowing GBP to kill it with that ridiculous purse demand. He just looking to cash out and not take too much damage to himself or his legacy.

 

Ok as any Full blooded mexican on this site will tell you, I am not a current fan of the 135+ JMM, but he is NOT ducking RObert.

There is just no point to fighting Robert......why? What is the point of that fight?

If he is going to take a chance with a larger guy......just fight Maidana, Khan or Bradley.

JMM is 38, that is ancient for a lightweight. ESPN and Dan Rafael can **** off. Though I am against the morales fight, but at this point JMM is in a spot where he can pick who he wants to fight

Oh pek pek your so funny. I really dont think the man that went 24 rounds and beat pacman twice is ducking guerrero who is a good fighter himself, but jmm is at an advanced age where he deserves to fight vs the big names out there like a bradley or khan or pacman. Jmm fighting guerrero has the same significance pacman fighting berto. Good fights but not very significant ones.
