Besides Haye and Sauerland (who stands behinds Haye) no oppponent ever speaks bad about the contract.

Wlad gave Byrd (Byrd II) 2 otpions on his following fights because Byrd was the defending champion.

No word in the press about such deals.

The Klitschko's contracts are a lot better than some of Don Kings and Bob Arums or any other promoter. To ask for options in giving your opponent a shot at your title is just good business and the Klitschko's are good businessmen. Haye thinks he should have too much to say and he have a small version of a title we will never really call a title, Valuev on advice of Don King would not fight a Klitschko.....The contracts a re just an excuse...plain and simple

The problem is that if you beat Wlad you would have 3 belts and could call the shots in a rematch with Wlad or fight with Vitali. Not with the K2 contracts you can't. You gotta fight the other bro and then rematch Wlad on the same SHITTY % even if you have all four belts.

Come on now, be realistic. Valuev was offered a career high payday. Povetkin ran like a little school girl TWICE! As for Sosnowski, I'd rather see him than Toney. Why? Because as good as Toney USED to be, he is now very disrespectful to the sport, he's a 237lb tub of goo with a loud mouth, and that's it.

A lot of fighters have no trouble at all, and some have a lot of trouble signing to fight a Klitschko. It seems to me that you automatically assume that any trouble at all, must come from the Klitschko side.

I'm not looking at it from a "fanboy" perspective. Now, every single one of us will have at least SOME bias when it comes to the fighters we like. With that said, I'm trying to honestly look at the contract situation from a neutral point of view.

Let's say for example for every 5 fighters that sign to fight a Klitschko, 1 fighter had major problems. Why are we to automatically believe that's a problem from the Klitschko side? Because that seems to be what your analysis is to me.

It looks like the Adamek deal went pretty smoothly to me...they got it done, and got it done quickly too.

The Klitschko Brothers have over 100 fights between them, and suddenly because a few fighters say negotiations were difficult (mainly Haye), the Klitschko's are unreasonable?? That just doesn't make sense to me.

Absolutely true. Chagaev's WBA title should have been on the line when he entered the ring against Wlad...but about a week or so before the fight the usual BS by the WBA took care of that. This was their statement

“Please be informed that the WBA will not complete its review of either the matter relating to the cancelled Helsinki heavyweight title bout or the recent Chagaev special permit request until after 21 June 2009, nor has it sanctioned any heavyweight title unification bout,” WBA Legal Director Robert E. Mack states."

Wlad is the real WBA Champion!

    He won against Chagaev.

Valuev pulls out against Chagaev and does not want to fight Wlad.

Scrolling through these pages what I have found mind numbingly pathetic is that you can't say something anti Klitschko without being jumped on left right and centre by over sensitive children. Also, there are some who just simply cannot admit or even entertain the thought that their favourite fighter may well have acted like a bit of a *******. I'm more than happy to sit here and say that Haye has been a right **** at times, but I can't place 100% of the blame on his shoulders. I'm also not inclined to just find every thread on the subject and just type some ******ed "Haye is a *****" comment like some Farmy wannabe. Do I think that some of the Klitschko contracts are unfair? I don't know. I think there may be an element of truth to what some fighters have said in the past. I also think it's unfair that we deem both brothers some two headed beast that rule the division and both can claim equal spoils. The fact is that Wlad's resume is far superior to Vitali's, whether you think he is the better fighter or not. To just defend a fighter to the hilt regardless of what they do is just a bit odd.

What the **** does Haye have to do with anything? I haven't mentioned him, so why are you? I don't even think the Haye fight didn't happen because of a bad contract offer, so I'm not sure why you're connecting the two.

There's so much deflection from Klitschko fans. The minute you criticize them, it must be because you have an agenda. There are many cries of patriotism, being a Haye fan, being racist, being biased towards old timers and so on - ****ing accept the criticism.

With Steward in his corner Wlad becomes a more complete fighter and he fights his way back to the top and his resume is far better than Vitalis.

H4H i believe Wlad is the better fighter of the two and i like him more, includings his personalty.

Seems like the guys mainly complaining about these "slave contracts" of K2 are the ones avoiding the Klitschkos.

I'm not gonna name any names but...
