That is honestly pretty ignorant, unless you're just trying to make a point. Yeah, Magee is in over his head but so was Brinkley. This is no worse an opponent.

That's the right guy. There's more of him on Youtube than just the Froch fight.

 

That is 100% true. That is why I think Bute is overrated. The list goes up his resume too.

 

I don't know how Bute could be overrated with so much haters!

 

He has doubters, more than haters. I don't even doubt his ability (and think he's about 50/50 with Ward)...I just think he's been facing very over-matched and mediocre opposition (which isn't entirely his fault, due to the top names in the division being tied up in the Super Six).

Brian Magee is a likable guy and not a bad fighter, but he isn't in Bute's league...same as with Brinkley. Unfortunately, there just isn't a whole lot of talent left in the division outside the tournament (and guys Bute has already beaten).
