Lara has a wealth of experience, and would quite obviously be a big betting favorite over Lemieux, even if it was in Canada.

Betting favourite? At 160, it's hard to call.

Lara has not faced top 10 guys. Neither has Lemieux. Both are definitely top 10 worthy.

This is all silly speculation, for a fight that won't be made on the short to mid term anyway.

I like your attitude, but stay away from Allan Green if you don't want your arsehole torn apart.

What a fighter this Allan Green is.

Lara got lots of experience and could cause Lemieux some problems. Lara's mobility and speed would help him in a match, but Lemieux is like a bulldozer and his power shot would slowdown Lara. For a 12 round fight, it would be an awesome show!

Never support Green. We will see how Lemieux fares when he steps up.

Do you consider Rubio as a step up?

Lemieux would KTFO most of the guys n the division even now. He is brilliant and ain't scared to fight best out there, he doesn't calculates looking at his time as a pro.

Give him a year or two and his talent will explode, you'll ****ing see. This guy has fists of steel.

Cheers. He'll be something special. He says his fight with Rubio is gonna be a war, and I believe him. Unless Rubio runs like he did against Pavlik, in which case David would have to chase him around... not an issue. The kid trains as much as Clubber Lang, I can't see Rubio escaping from David's power shots -- not strong enough on defense.

Hopefully this next fight is a real statement for him. So it bumps him up on the MW scene, visibility wise. It'll be broadcasted on ESPN2... a fight against someone like Manfredo or Ishe Smith on HBO/Showtime in the summer could help his reputation in the US. Championship fight late in the year, early 2012.
