Cause he was afraid if he beat Tua, he'd then have to rematch Barrett?

Really what was the amount offered and how does it compare to what Tua has made recently what would of been a reasonable amount? ...
Odds are as usual "jack" is just talking out of his ass with more made up facts... :deal

So Tua didn't have a problem with the offer, he just knew that if he won his next fight that he would get a mandatory 30%.

He played his hand and he lost. It was a fair call to make for Tua, he backed himself to become mandatory. He just didn't succeed.

Can't see how he somehow was entitled to a bucketload of cash at any point though?

You have to be a relevant player in the division to be ducked. Tua hasn't been relevant for nearly 10 years.

Tua was lowballed at $400,000. Didn't figure it would cover expenses. So he said no. He needs to get a mandatory arrangement, where he can make over a mil.

BTW, Chauncy Welliver offered to fight Wlad, and take the $400,000. Wlad said he would if Chisora said no.

God No. While it would be an interesting match up if Tua could prove he deserved a title shot, there is no way he has done enough to even be mentioned as an opponent for Wlad. Even Chisora is more deserving at this point.

    NO.

Wlad would jab him to death, tua only has a punchers chance and i don't think he would be able to get near wlad

Lowballed? Did he get a better deal? Sounds more like he priced himself out.

If only Tua landed we'd have the new WC.

    Just a thought..

If Wlad would be fighting Tua instead of Chisora on HBO he might get even more **** thrown at him. Tua still has pretty solid fan base in America and beating and old 'star' badly would sting many of those fans and possibly even press. Chisora on the other hand is unknown fresh fighter and nobody there cares if he gets blasted.

If Chisora manages to not freeze and puts even semi good performance he might jump on radar as good replacement fighter because he has proven that his not afraid of dangerous opponent, has personality for marketing and is easy to negotiate in fast fashion.

He made $500,000 against Shane Cameron.

Do you think he deserves a similar amount for fighting a national level fighter, as he does for a world title shot?
