That was a sweet combination. Yes, here we had a very large heavyweight with a gorgeous jab Wlad wished he had and someone who was regularly putting punches together. You can talk all the crap you want about Golota's mental state and his embarrassing moments in the ring, but when it comes to his boxing fundamentals and skills, I think we all have eyes and can see.
Hell yes. Golota's jab was very snappy, quick and heavy. Wlad pushes his most times and looks downright ugly in comparison. It has proven to be effective to maintain distance, yet Golota's was a thing of beauty.
The way Golota didnt even celebrate is weird, like hes crazy 24/7 walking around the ring almost upset that it wasnt a longer fight
Uncrowned champ! His skills and especially jab was superior, if he only had mental strength who knows! Everyone who knows boxing would agree with this statement.
Nice KO. He had some skills for a big man. Golota was very good, but was well short of elite. Prime Lewis and post prison Mike pulverized him rather too easily. He had a good run though. Definately deserved to win a title. I had him beating Byrd and Ruiz.
Quit and found himself out of the fight like a ***** 4 times, had 4 title fights and lost all of them, two of them where he got KO'd in the first round. GolaTTA sucks, c'mon man.
I think the most I've ever seen him celebrate was one hand raised, head down, half-smile - kind of celebration. I recall one of his trainers (Bloodworth maybe) saying that he was never satisfied with himself. Here he's probably thinking "I KO'd a bum, so what?". His mentality was always kind of shady. I think he didn't believe he is really good (champion-like good) and that's mostly why he didn't become a champion. It never seemed to me like he fights for himself, it was more like he feels dragged in there and only does it because he has to. I guess he's never had a strong, personal dream of becoming boxing's great unlike Lewis for example.
LOL, saw how Golota KO'd that slick black boxer? lmao! What's TTA/GolaTTa anyhow? And why is it that when a white guy KO's a black guy, it's racist? :-( someone post that black kid saying it's racist!
Golata was like a bleached Floyd Mayweather against Ray Austin, did you see his shoulder roll?! :scaredas:
