Mora never really capitalized after beating my boy Forrest. He got spanked in the rematch but never went on to achieve more after the first fight(Admittingly he was a zombie in the rematch lol). I saw the second round of Ver/Mora and Mora looked slick but Vera seemed to want it more. His desire to win is what helped beat Mora & Mora's awkward style.

 

Cut Mora out of that and you have a good fight. I'd love to see Cintron in there with my man the Grand Master.

Mora is not a bum but he looked like **** last night! His style has never been crowd pleasing either..

 

Bryan Vera is a much better fighter than his record indicates. Four of his five losses came against undefeated contenders, and the other loss came when Jaidon Codrintgon caught a very green Vera with a shot Vera did not see coming. Now, Jaidon never turned into much, but that boy could ****ing CRACK.

Mora is a natural middleweight who manged to boil down to 154 on just three occassions. Only one of those three fights was a good performance.

Vera has fought above 160 eleven times including 5 fights at a full 168. They both weight in at 163 for this fight.

Mora lost to a bigger, stronger man who had a good game plan and a smart corner.

I was not surprised.

Mora is a product of ESPN and the contender, he was never a top fighter but he got pushed down boxing fans throat.

Feel bad for him. Got jobbed vs. Mosley and tagged 'runner' because what, he used sweet ****ing science instead of bum rushing into Shane's right hand - and then got matched horribly vs. a guy with terrible risk/reward ratio. He doesn't make it easy for himself but he deserved a Kelly Pavlik fight or something big like that instead everyone seem happy now, Vera, Golden Boy, fans. Only he deserved better and inside you know he did.
