He's smiling because of the red, white, and blue on the belt. He wishes he could be that good.

No he didnt, Floyd was bigger than Mosley in the ring or near the same weight and Mosley comes in near 160 on fight night. Pac came in 148 on fight night. 148! You think that a guy who comes in 148 on fight night for a 150lb fight is heavier than a guy who couldn't even make the 144 agreed weight with JMM?

Floyd walks at 156. Source is his Uncle Jeff.

Floyd hasn't given his unofficial fight night weight to HBO since 2006, when he weighed 149lbs against Baldomir. That was over 4 years ago

this is about right or maybe a couple of pounds more. floyd would be at least 8-10 pounds more than pac on fight night.

You need to ask Pac that. He is the one scared of a simple blood test.

Indeed. Sometimes people forget, Pac was practically an unknown fighter when he faced Ledwaba and that was already his 34th fight. 34 fights just to get his name out there (what more to be even considered as a top p4p fighter), whereas US fighters, especially those that do well in the olympics have the advantage of having that name recognition from the get go.

I think that makes for one of the main differences between Pac and Floyd Jr. Because of Floyd's great amateur record and the fact that he's from one of the more successful boxing families, people expect more from him and it leads to him appearing sometimes to be an underachiever. Pac, on the other hand, practically appeared out of nowhere, he has little amateur experience and is from a country that, while definitely is a significant force in boxing, isn't as big a force as the US or Mexico. So it leads to Pac to looking like an overachiever, doing things people never expected him to do.

The truth, as always, is probably somewhere in between. Although I think Pac has accomplished more, I do realize that Floyd's accomplishments are somewhat diminished unfairly simply because people expect him to always win.

but at the same time, in terms of Floyd's ability he is probably overrated because he just fits the mold of what an amazing fighter is supposed to be. Meanwhile Pacquiao despite his accomplishments still gets underrated because people just don't expect some little asian dude who doesn't have much of an amateur background to have the ability of a p4p ATG. Pac has to do alot more in the ring to get the same kind of recognition as a guy who already has 1 step inside the door before he does anything.
