****. I was hoping my Geles upset pick had come to fruition.

 

What happened to this months popular picks? Did sombody put a hex on them or something? :blood

 

Waiting for an update on Hirales/Geles

 

Undercard of the fight Romero-Macias ended with Romero winning by UD. The Hirales-Geles fight should be coming on in a few minutes....I'm on tape delay so I might be late getting the results in.

 

God, If I didn't pick this one right, I suck so far this year...

So, far so good for Hirales. After four rounds I see him up either 3-1, 4-0....I'm not officially scoring the fight, but he's up right now, IMO (or he should be....he is in Columbia in Geles hometown.). He's pounding away at Geles' body and really hurting him.....low blows also hurt Geles as he crumpled to the floor in pain.

 

Hirales still having success in the 5th round, Geles hurt by a headbutt and low blow. I'm suprised no point is being taken away..............6th round: Geles rocked badly! Hirales looking to may'be finish off Geles....Glees recovers a bit....rocked again, he's badly buzzed.....he's got to kill just a few more seconds he might be able to survive....and he does.

 

I hate my Kirk's ESB Championships life...

0-3 for the weekend. Wtf Hirales!

 

Geles hanging around though, he's fighting very tough and showing heart, and really having his best round. In round 7......round 8 yet another round where Geles is showing some good boxing ability, Hirales may have punched himself and he is giving this fight away and making it closer....he can't afford to have rounds like this.....he needs to get in there and wail away again and dig into Geles' body.

 

Round 9 Geles coming back strong and really controlling this fight all of a sudden.....Hirales has no answers.....Round 10 now Hirales is coming back and now may have some juice he's coming back firing away, digging to the body....real good, close fight.....and a close fight means that Geles may get the nod. We shall see 2 more rounds to go!

 

Does Hirales look like he's the stronger of the two, punching powerwise?
