See, the difference from previous opponents that tried to swarm Floyd was, they tend to smother the space between them, You forget that Pac is good at keeping distance from his opponents after throwing them combos. I agree about the possibility of Pac being deterred from a Floyd counter, but that is the intangibles, we dont know if he will be deterred or not, and also, you cant rulle out the fact that pac is more than capable of landing atleast one of those powershots on Floyd, With or without that shoulder roll.

In all honesty, whether they are right or wrong , the reasons they picked May wasnt because they thought he was the better fighter , but because all three fighters were disappointed in the way they lost to Manny.

    Why is it hate?

Please if I am discussing this with an 11 year old I will be disappointed. I dont have that notion for either fighter. JMM didnt win either of his two fights , whether we like it or not. I do know that both Hatton and Oscar( my fav fighter by the way) we more embarrassed to lose to a much smaller fighter in Manny and therefore were favouring Floyd because they did better against him , thus making there careers look better.

why would they pick floyd if they were dissapointed in being knocked out to manny? that means they are saying they that between floyd and manny they got knocked out by the lesser fighter.

your argument is illogical. but what else can you expect from a biased fan who, to quote roger mayweather, "don't know **** about boxing"

Yes I agree that Pac is good at keeping a distance but so is Floyd. It is also highly likely that Pac will be deterred by counter punchers based on his past fights. He fought Marquez in 04 was countered to death, then Morales used the same blue print. Pac and Morales fought the second time and he was getting countered again until Morales legs gave out on him. He fought Marquez in 08 was countered again to death and he hasn't fought a counter puncher since. Now yes Manny has improved but how are we suppose to know he improved enough to be able to beat Floyd? Floyd is the ultimate counter puncher. Of course Pac will land on Floyd but Pac has cumulative power. Pac would have to hit Floyd with a 3-5 punch combo to have him ***** street like Shane did.

My logic it totally acceptable , that is if your IQ is over 75 , and that puts you and Roger out of the game.

By saying the more elite fighter (Floyd maybe) is favoured , is basically saying that they were not at their best against Manny , and he didnt really beat the real them, where as there efforts against Floyd were a better judge of themselves, thus Floyd being their favourite in the fight, it helps their ego's.

I know this is difficult for you to understand , but hey the world needs road sweepers.

gotta admit, this argument you made is logical and well-reasoned but doesn't apply to JMM because he was fighting a much bigger man and was older when he fought floyd.
