It's about fighting the best. Not fighting guys who were at there best 5 years ago.

An undefeated, young, prime prospect would look better on Bute's resume than a guy who has not won a meaningful fight in years. What top 10 fighters has Magee beaten?

    I don't like Bute-Magee, but that's a load of nonsense.

Stieglitz: Scared to death of Bute, refused numerous very good offers.

Mendy: Old, was KOed by Bika but won by DQ.

Andrade: Bute beat him 2 times.

    Startison: See Stieglitz.

Johnson: MAYBE, MAYBE, but he's super green. That would be like Wlad-Chisora.

Bika: Bute beat him 4 years ago, in a more dominant fashion than Ward.

    And Magee is too............................................**** it.

I can't be arsed arguing anymore. Magee is a crap opponent. There are alternatives. Network prevents certain alternatives who may in the opinion of some, be better than the choice opponent. Bute fights Magee as a last resort, as networks pickiness (is that a word?) results in lack of good alternatives.

Can we leave it at that?

Sure. But to me, 'pickiness' = marketing requirements/criteria as part of the selection process.

    It's never Bute's fault. :|

Why oh why does poor Bute have to fight these cans for millions of dollars? The poor guy just can't catch a break. :-(

How could it be Bute's fault anyway?!?

    S. Larouche: "Showtime thought they had a superdeal for us with Kessler for March 19th, we were like 'yeah, that's exactly where we wanna go', but it got trashed because Kessler was unavailable and injured... therefore not free before the summer. Magee was Showtime's choice, not ours."

    GTFO.

Well, you are actually right. It's not Bute's fault. You don't need to cry for that though. :D

If Kessler and Dirrell don't want to face him, will it be Bute's fault? Bute is mad because he wants the best. Until you prove the contrary, you are just plain dishonest.

Bute's good offer = fight in Bell Centre with my judges and hometown ref. Even if you knock me out, you'll lose! No wonder anyone worth a crap refuses!

I'm tired of this one-trick pikey, when is he gonna step outside his safe-house and fight a live body????????

This promo is 30 seconds too long.

    Dreadful fight.

    Typical Bute opponent.

Bute must be very good to upset so many boxing "fans". You call him a prospect, a one-trick poney, a hype-job, but when Kessler makes his return and wants an easy title, is he challenging Bute? No. He sits on his promised rematch with Ward and challenges Stieglitz.

Does Ward say that Bute is a prospect? No. He says the super 6 winner will have to face Bute if he wants to be called the best of his division.

You are a bunch of losers.

Bute's last four referees were American. FOUR. Time to change your tune, it's kind of old...

The remacth against Andrade was won by Golden boy promotions. Bute was glad to fight in USA but GBP decided to make the fight in Montreal. Who's fault is it genius?
