    Pac:

Lightest world title - Flyweight, 112lbs
Heaviest world title - Light Middleweight (ish) 154lbs

    RJJ:

Lightest world title - Middleweight, 160lbs
Heaviest world title - Heavyweight, unlimited (Roy weighed in at 193lbs).

So just by numbers Pac had gone up more in weight but remember that Ruiz weighed 226lbs.

Whose weight gain is more astounding to you?

Roy Jones. He has the better resume as well. Roy actually turned pro at 154.

Pacquiao was always going to develop into a natural 135-140lber...which doesn't make it any less impressive.

Middleweight-Heavyweight is certainly the harder jump in my opinion.

:deal I feel the same way. People must realize that you have guys that walk around at 210 pounds that dropped down to 175 to fight at lightheavy.

Barrera, Morales, Marquez, De La Hoya, Hatton, Cotto, margarito > Hopkins, Toney, ruiz, tarver 1.
Pac has a deeper and better resume. His jump in weight is one of the best ever. Jones is great as well.

    going by percent weight

pac from 112 to 154 means a 37.5% weight gain from his lightest championship division to his heaviest championship division.

jones from 160 to 200 means a 25% weight gain from his lightest championship division to his heaviest championship division.

it's easily pacquiao who was more impressive.

I was thinking more about which is the greater accomplishment in terms of skill, heart, athleticism etc. and the ability to fight much bigger guys.

Smaller guys always tend to move up in weight of course not like what Manny has done, but 3 or 4 weight classes. Roy Jones did history and also with no demands:D

No dude you are wrong. Montell Griffin, Reggie Johnson, Lou De Valle, Mike McCallum, Virgil Hill. All these guys were champions. You have to look at when Manny fought Oscar, Margarito. Cotto couldn't beat Griffin or any of the other guys I just named if he was a natural light heavy or super middleweight.
