Instead of telling me to fuk off, read my posts before the fight and you will see I am telling the truth.
I'm not saying you're not telling the truth, but saying Maidana had no chance of stopping Khan was a foolish thing to say.
Thankyou. Power is subjective isn't it. There is no clear a hits harder than b in boxing. Look at martinez knocking out williams. It is debtable, which was my initial point. You can't say clearly that maidana is a bigger banger than prescot. You can have an opinion but it isn't a fact. More than that the reason I feel prescot would beat khan is due to mentality. I don't think he'd have the mental strength to overcome him. Like how hearns couldn't overcome barkley and forest couldn't overcome mayorga. It's all down to opinion yes.
Well I was proved correct. I said khan could take maidana's best shots and he did. I said maidana was not the man to stop khan and he wasn't. And too darni, I agree, but for the first 6 rounds he'd have a good shot imo.
He took a grazeing maidana shot and was all over the place almost stopped in the 10th??? sometimes i think people watched a different fight or they just beleive the sky sports "khan has haglers chin" BS
:huh To me, that's a very good point. Many Casual Sports fans would genuinally tune in because they've heard of Amir Khan, they know who he is. They might not be a fan of Amir, but they'll still tune in because he's a household name. I'm not saying all of them will be like that, but it is most definitely a considerable amount. If you disagree, then please explain.
atsch some people Rob eh? McCloskey will bring a few thousand himself! I cant see his entire town not going. It would be great if it was a Ireland Italy USA '94 moment - the MEN being 80% full of McCloskey fans! Khan SHOULD win but hopefully its a good fight that reflects well on both fighters
A Grazing shot? You call a full-flush shot to the chin a grazing shot? Let's not forget the following series of punches he took from that punch onwards, shall we.
You of anyone should know Khan has a very loyal fan base. The crowd at the MEN, which will be a 95% sellout will be 40% hardcore Khan, 20% hardcore McCloskey, 20% general boxing fans like us, 20% casuals.
you must of watched a different fight to me. it was a grazeing shot of the top which hit Khan on the temple. same spot where Limmond had him in fits.
he said tickets not PPV numbers. Khans and McCloskey fans will fill it regardless of the undercard. Casuals will PPV it, but the vast majority there will be heavily favouring one or the other
