    (pictured above, at center), will be featured on Monday on Comcast SportsNet as part of his native Philadelphia's monthly magazine program, Net Impact Philly, as the sports network celebrates Black History Month by profiling some of the city's most influential African-American athletes.

    The program, which airs across the country in 14 select local markets, will re-broadcast Hopkins' segment on The Comcast Network on Wednesday, February 16.

    Hopkins (51-5-2, 32 KOs), who turned 46 on Jan. 15, has his sights on an April or May return bout with WBC light heavyweight (175 pounds) king

    Net Impact Philly The feature will give a behind-the-scenes look into Hopkins' life as a a former Philadelphia street thug who, at the age of about 22, began his professional boxing career after having emerged from a five-year stint in Pennsylvania's Graterford Prison.

    Years later, Hopkiins has accumulated millions of dollars worth of wealth as well as championship glory and a Hall of Fame career.

    Cameras captured Hopkins in the gym as he prepared for his fight against Pascal, and continued rolling while he performed his continuous work in the local community.

    "I am honored to be part of Comcast Philly's celebration of Black History Month. Being a Philadelphian is a big part of who I am," said Hopkins. "I am proud of my roots, and I hope that my story can be a positive influence for youth who are growing up in a similar situation as I did to go out and make a negative into a positive."
