Witters problem is Hennessey not getting him the fights in last 10 months.

 

Everything points to HBO and not SKY rejecting Witter....

Do you even read the posts you respond too? If I thought khan had haglers chin I wouldn't think that ortiz, judah and marquez have the power to knock him out.

And maidana does not have one punch power. Atleast not in my opinion at the top level. His named opponents so far corley, ortiz, kotelnick and khan. He hasn't taken any of them out with one shot.

 

Yeah that's my theory, he won't get worn down by accumulation punchers. It will take a clean accurate well timed shot to take him out.

It isn't fact like you say, it's just my opinion. But I didn't expect maidana to knock khan out even if if caught him. If judah, marquez or ortiz caught him i'd expect it to be game over.

 

I actually agree with you on this bit. I said 5 months or so before the fight the same thing. He digs and breaks your will. At world class level he breaks wills with his power. Lesser level the guys obviously struggle with power and go down and out easier due to not being able or used to facing that sort of power.

how often in the lower weights do you see one punch KO's?

 

There is no way HBO would allow Witter that fight after what he has done in the last 2 years.
SKY on the other hand aren't exactly known for being strict on opponents for fights they broadcast.

 

You either read a different version of this forum to the rest of us, or you're incapable of reading properly.

I never said anything about HBO or about anyone rejecting a bout. I said Sky didn't like the idea because of concerns about his weight and the fact he told them the week prior he can no longer make the weight...All this said by Junior Witter himself

According to you HBO rejected Murray as an opponent. According to you Murray vs Mitchell March 19th. According to you Maidana scraped Khans temple when clearly it landed on Khans jaw.

 

The first two are not my opinions. Just posting whats been said elsewhere.
