So after watching a night of McCloskey last night i have decided this could be an interesting fight.

McClosky has come out saying Amir's power is in question and his chin is in question.

What the hell is going on with these fighter's?

Do they believe there own hype?

I can see Amir winning this within 6 round by Ko!!!!

Here is what Paul had to say:

“Khan is seen as a superstar but he’s certainly beatable. Yes, he’s improved dramatically under Freddie Roach but in his last fight Maidana had him rocked,” said McCloskey to the Belfast Telegraph. “The referee could have stepped in and stopped the fight when Maidana caught Khan in the 10th round but it was Khan’s conditioning which stood by him — he ran like a mad man trying to stay out of the way.
“Maidana took serious punches from Khan but, except for the one body punch at the start when he went down, he wasn’t rocked. Khan’s not a big puncher.”

    And McCloskeys trainer said:

“It's great news for Paul that the deal is signed but it's bad for Khan. Paul has the style to beat him without a doubt — he's going to baffle Khan with his skill and his moves," Breen told the Belfast Telegraph.
“I get the impression that Khan's camp are taking Paul lightly and if they are underestimating Paul then that's just great. It's going to be a great fight. Paul and I will be sitting down this week to make our plans. We have 10 weeks to get ready which is perfect for us. It's the fight we have been calling for and now the chance is here so it has to be grabbed."
Breen is going to put together a very strong training camp. He wants his boxer to be ready for everything. The best possible sparring partners will be hired for the camp.
"For this fight no stone will be left unturned, money will have to be spent on good sparring and a training camp second to none to make sure that Paul is ready to go and win," Breen said

Think they have been smoking the funny stuff! But it nice to see then making an effort i hope Khan has a new decent conditioning coach.

Funny thing is Khan will be starting sparing soon any wins the trump cards with the best p4p SOUTHPAW champion!! Mr Pacman.

Sparring wont get any better than that.

I've never watched any of his fights.

He has the right to say that though, if he hits as hard and is as tough as Maidana.

    Mate your avatar is brilliant.

After wathing his fights he does not hear any were near Maidana i think he has about 35% ko rate its like 12 in 30.

He loves to work the body and does punch from some great angles. he is a slower version of Malignaggi.

that paul isn't better than khan. Ive seen him fight and think khan would have UD'd him when khan was 20. mccloskey can sit there and gun khan but maidana wasnt no bum, he was a hard hitter.

McCloskey is too green for khan anyway, if you seen him fight you'l know instantly the mistakes he makes in his defense

Not too impressed by McCloskey only seen him on youtube admitdly but i just think this is the type of fight that will show amir is a level above Euro Level fighters. Khan can be elite if things go to plan. THink he will have too much speed and range and if he can get the jab working well again i think he can probably get a mid rounds stoppage - as for not being a massive puncher - he will be the bigger puncher of the two on the night and with his speed advantage i dont PM much of a chance

McCloskey has abit of a punch but he swings them in from way back i can see khan hitting him with the right hand all night long but if he dosent hold his hands up his going to get clipped thats for sure should be interesting for a few...

McCloskey's hands are kept pretty low, too. We saw what Khan did to Malignaggi.

It’s hard to say. I don’t think he’s ever been knocked down, but again, it may not mean much due to his opposition-level. But seeing as though he’s Irish, I’m willing to bet he’s pretty tough.

McCloskey is quite slick. Very stylish fighter. Seems to have improved his power over the last year or so.
I see Khan being too much for him,but it wont be the walkover many expect.

If Khan walks through him easily, ill be hugely impressed!

mcloskeys not been in with anything like khan for speed.it will be interesting to see who he brings in for sparring.i cant see khan letting paul dictate the pace which is key for paul. however he can punch and deliver the odd good shot from funny angles so one never knows.
