    Morales couldnt decisively defeat David Diaz almost four years ago, hes not going to be competitive with Maidana. Horrible, horrible fight. But not one I think Maidanas people would take anyways, at this point a Morales fight is a step back from what Maidana is trying to do at 140, imo. And Citing the Corley fight as a beacon of hope for Morales is nonsensical, the two not only present two completely different opponents in the ring with some heavy contrasting in styles that favor Corley when discussing fighting Maidana, I also think Corley would actually beat Morales if they were to fight this year at 140.

    Just IMO.

    I'm not sure which newsflash I find more interesting - Arum taking a photograph with Mayweather or pondering the possible replacement fights for JMM now that news has broken that his farce of a fight with Morales has been canned.

    And the April PPV sounds like it could have high quality potential (perhaps buying worthy) should they add Maidana-Morales and JMM-TBA(Bradley,:yep) to the already intriguing Katsidis-Guerrero slug fest.

    If he couldn't get motivated for corley why would he get motivated for morales?

    It won't be a blow out. Trust.

    Well, if Maidana ends up fighting Morales, he would be fighting on a bigger stage, for bigger money, against a future hall of famer. So there's a few more incentives there.

    I'll say this, though..if Maidana is in similar form to the Corley fight then I agree..it won't be a blow out.

    Boy, it would sure throw a wrench in the works if Marquez chose Bradley for his next fight and beat him at 140.

    I love Morales and Barrera and they should retire ASAP. I was and still am disappointed to see them still trying to fight but I doubt Maidana faces Morales. Another thing I am disappointed in is fights like Morales/JMM(good action but still Morales is badly faded) being PPV, ugly.

    Maidana would brutally stop Morales, provided he turns up in good condition (like the Khan fight).

    Will JMM fight Guerrero? Guerrero keeps accusing him of ducking him but I don't see him troubling Marquez enough to beat him.

    I really hope Marquez fights Bradley. Career defining win in a historic fourth weight class.
