Why was Hopkins beating Trinidad considered such a big win for Hopkins?

    I thought the way Hopkins destroyed Trinidad was masterful. Granted, Trinidad was a very limited fighter with outstanding attributes that carried his ass very far, but ODLH was the first to dominate him and Winky did afterwards.

    But you have to factor in Hopkins' size advantage which was very apperant. So yes it was masterful, but Trinidad was at a disadvantage size and strength wise.

    The reason it was highly paraded was because Trinidad was getting overrated to ridiculous proportions. RJJ was supposed to fight Trinidad at 168 had he gotten by Hopkins FFS!

    Of course I go on Boxrec, anyone on here who says different wouldnt be telling the truth, but as a fan I can recall Trinidad going down 7 times before facing Hopkins, and not all of those are noted on Boxrec. Try harder tit.

    I started on 500. If you joined ESB before a certain time you started with 1000 and after that time it dropped to 500. As you are on a 1000 I guess you havent won a bet. I started on 500 and now have 600.
    Guess that means I call it better than you, still we proved that on the excellent Froch vs Abraham thread I did :happy
