I think it was the 8th round that people were making an argument for a 10-8 round.

I forget my exact scorecard but i had JMM winning by 2 or 3 points.

The second round obviously was not 10-8.

A fight so close a Pac has been ducking Marquez for years now. Pac know Marquez owns him.

A real fighter of the people would have done like Martinez did to Williams a made it clear who the best was by fighting him again as soon as possible. :deal

Funny how you brought this up because I just made a JMM CAB for FNR4 today lol. I scored the first fight for Pac 113-112 and the second fight for JMM by a few points but I can't find the scorecard for that.

 

I had Marquez by 2 points.

 

Marquez, 7-5.

8-4 if you give him the first round but I usually don't.

 

I watched this fight 2 times and have marquez bearly winning just due to the fact that most of his punches were accurate and had more landing HOWEVER I can see how the kd made the diffrence but either way their should have been a trilogy!!

 

I got Pac winning the 1st 115-112, The 2nd by 1 rd!

But it doesnt matter anymore! Pac Proved he's the much Greater fighter now. Pac has cleaned up 140-154, While JMM hasnt accomplished anything north of 135.

Look... Floyd takes the JMM fight withoit Blinking. Even when JMM drinks his pee, Floyd was never worried! but Floyd has create a lot of excuses just to duck Pac!

 

Had it 8-4 for JMM. And I was rooting for Pac.

 

The knockdown was the difference for me. Think I had it 114-113. Marquez was lucky he wasn't called for a 2nd KD in the round he tasted canvas when he held on to the ropes as he was going down again. Though going from the first fight, that might've actually worked in Marquez's favor influencing probable biased scoring of the remaining rounds if he'd come back from 2 KDs.

 

Your boy had the chance to get a rematch back in 2004 but he chose to fight chris john for 30K. Pac went up and destroyed much bigger boxer than marquez. Pac has nothing to prove to marquez. He already beat him twice. 1st fight was a robbery..pac should have won after the 3 knockdown in the 1st rd.

 

1st fight: Pac barely
2nd fight: Draw but I can easily see it going either way, slight edge to Marquez. Too many close rounds.

 

I dont have my scorecard but I remember my score was 7-4-1 for Marquez.

Close fight but JMM deserved the win.
