I had GSP before Saturday night, now Silva edges back ahead of him. If GSP handles Shields, then he'll likely get the P4P title back. I realize some people will disagree, but I think a P4P ranking can be fluid like this when you have two fighters who are so dominant in their divisions.
For me it's GSP right now. The amount of good opponents he has faced is excellent. He has cleaned out the division, only Shields left.
I agree with this Fedor take it back if he beats Big Foot, Reem/Werdum the probably Barnett on the other side of the bracket
1. Silva - Has dominated his division, has his most impressive performances against his best competition. And has proved he can move up and dominate fighters in the division above him. 2. GSP - Has looked flawless since his loss to Serra, has won every second of every round. Hasn't proved he can be effective against bigger stronger fighters though. 3. Fedor 4. Aldo 5. Rua
Shogun Rua is right on par with the Spider & GSP on current form + he`s had a better career than both thus far. Shogun for me but it could easily be Silva or GSP, all are on a similar level - level A+
i can't help but think that gsp dominates a 170 hendo and sonnen. not so sure if silva could do the same to a 185 hughes, fitch, koscheck, alvez etc
MW is pretty weak imo, i'd still favour fedor, just because he lost one fight doesnt mean he's shot... maybe he's past his prime but he's still a goat, fighting guys who outweights him +10 pounds...
GSP hasn't lost a round in what...almost 4 years? I had him #1 before this past weekend, and while the Silva KO was sensational, I don't see any reason to change it.
