Yeah I'm suprised by this. The last I heard team pascal was talking like Chad Dawson was going to be there next opponent. Looks like HBO was able to act as abretter and work out some step aside money or something. Eitherway I think its the right move for Jean. I think he can get a better result this time. He's shown in the past the ability to evolve after the Froch fight. I don't think he was too far away from giving Bernard a serious beating and I think if he trusts his skills and ability to fight inside he could do very well. I worry though because I think it seemed like Bernard had some mental edge over him in their last fight. Like he wasn't bouncing around during his ring walk or anything and despite the knock downs he honestly only really seemed into the fight in the last couple of rounds...hopefully he calms down abit more and gives doesn't do soo much running....cause that just gave rounds he could have won away.

Hopefully he fights diaconu on the undercard. I doubt quebec would put soo much of its talent on the line in one night but that would be freakin sweet.

Agreed. I also figure there would be some promise of 1st crack at the winner. Antwaunn Maxx always has these nuggets. I figured he might have heard something more definitive.

 

Maybe Pascal can throw more than 25 punches per round this time?

I see it panning out the same in the rematch, except, Hopkins will secure the decision imo.

 

Same, I think Pascal will fight a more evenly paced fight over 12 but lose a close decision.
