Shane Mosley is past his prime now, but at 135, he was a destroyer. Pacquiao blitzed David Diaz but how do you see this matchup at 135?

We've had similar threads to this one, but I got the same answer. Mosley KO
    Body Shots are key

Mosley was no joke at 135. He doesn't really throw body punches anymore but back then he did. Plus we all know Manny is prone to body shots. Mosley KO by body shots.

Pacquiao. Mosley is a great fighter, but Pac is on the highest possible level at 135 and 140.

eck - hate these speculative opinion mining threads....
BUT...... if for some idiot reason one was able to rewind time for entertainment -
I'd give the win over Pacquiao still. Pac would look to outwork SSM and may just wear him down in the long stretch. There could be some good possibilities of knockdowns on both sides, but i dont think Pac would be able to KO out SSM.
    Pacquiao for UD

Current time now - Pacquiao for mid/late KO

SSM is just a bit too top-heavy for his age now, which makes him that much more slower. He's still a warrior and will do what he can and will go out on his shield.

Mosley KO rd1. PAC never win in a fantasy fight. Floyd would KO Mosley in rd1 though. Floyd never lose in fantasy fight.

It would be one hell of a war for sure. Not really sure who would win though, but I'd give the smallest edge to Mosley only because I think he would have been stronger than Pac. I do think though that Mosley would have to KO Pac to win, if not, Pac wins by UD.

No. He's been in there with MUCH bigger men than himself, taking big shots to the body and head and giving back much more than he's receiving.

Leija was a tough little dude back then, but he doesn't see the 9th rd vs. Pac.

Mosley by KO, he would not have just been bigger and stronger but he would've also been faster.
