Marquez-Morales off. Morales-Maidana under discussion.

So Maidana-Morales will be for the WBA regular title once Khan is elevated to Super CHampion?

Maidana loses in his title shot against Khan, then the very next fight he's facing off for that same title against an old shot fighter with no business fighting for it?

What a ****ing disgrace. GBP have been showing too much influence with sanctioning bodies recently.

And I can't believe JMM wouldn't jump at the chance to fight Maidana for a title. Doesn't look like Marquez will be fighting at 140 going from that decision.

 

I hope marquez fights alexander, ortiz or bradley!

 

if morales fights maidana....then HUGE ****in props to morales....

and will forever be a badass for just going through with the fight

 

there is talk that there was a problem with the purse split for the fight since jmm was asking for a much bigger slice of it.

so, is this another case of jmm again walking away from a fight since he did not get the money he was asking for?

Glad marquez loss this fight. He wanted to up the money, but learned not all roads lead to marquez. He's trying to low ball Morales. Morales is one of the guys the made the featherweight division so rich. U can bet that morales has tones of options

i think he will be ok in a Marquez fight. Marquez is not as fast and dont hit as hard as manny. So he can salvage going the distant. He's not Katsidis he's going to be getting hit flush all the time. You seen what Barrera can do versus marquez. Morales has a better longer jab that can keep marquez away.

 

Not to mention that Marquez will not go on a roid induced all out blitz!

 

My house and my right nut would bet that Morales was being offered a bigger % of the purse split than Marquez was for a third Pacquiao fight.

 

This is a better fight for morales. Maidana is a big puncher but he doesn't have the skills of marquez. If morales still have something left he could put up a better fight than he would against marquez.

the morales fight was suppose to be a redemption fight for JMM. Dont know what happened there - mebbe the promo was gonna suck and wasnt much money there worth the fight.

I honestly think JMM still has enuf to seriously challenge Tim Bradley, and give him a solid loss....

Yes, he may have HAD the technical abilities, but he's much slower and much less resilient. Old age takes that toughness out of you, and the ability to take a punch upside the head....

 

Titles are meaningless. Look at WBC allowing pac and margo to fight for their title. Margo hadn't done **** at 154 and pac had never even fought there!
