Explain to me why Denis Boytsov is even mentioned as an opponent for Haye?

the guy has fought **** for 28 fights...i dont see one guy hes beaten even in the top 25....
    his last few fights
    Jason Gavern 18-5-3
    Kevin Montiy 17-6-1
    Mike Sheppard 15-11-1
Israel Carlos Garcia age 40, coming off a KO loss to Arreola, ranked # 214

even if his "hand" wasnt hurt as everyone keeps saying as why he couldnt fight Haye...truth remains, the guy is as worthy as a challenger (even for Hayes paper title) than Kevin McBride would be

Agreed the guy is overhyped and doesn't deserve his Ring Top 10 rating....however he's a better opponent then Fraudley, Chisora, or even Briggs. Even untested, surely he would be Haye's toughest opponent outside of SNV. I'd rather see this young dynamic undefeated fighter in the ring with Haye then some old has-been....even if Boystov is destined to be KOed early.

Solely because it's a garbage division. Holyfield looked better against Maddalone than Boytsov did, and that's probably his best opponent to date.

And what top 25 heavyweight has the Gaye boy ever beaten? He didn't really beat Valuev.

Boystov is really good. He's slowed down a bit since he's bulked up, but great power, good hand speed and solid fundamentals.

Well considering if Chagaev gets passed over and Povetkin declines, I don't see what the problem is. This seems to be a better match up then what we could have got in a Mormeck rematch or Rahman fight. And depending on what fashion Haye beats Boystov, presuming he does I'd have no problem giving him some credit. This will be a mandatory and if the #1,2 can't go this is next best thing. There are far worse choices that could be made then this. It would also serve as a good measuring stick as to how far along Boystov is with his skills.

Just wondering has Boystov ever been hurt or down in his career? And how does he react to getting hit, if he ever has been flushly, from his level of competition.

It's because he'd be deemed a mandatory. That's the best thing about wlad right, he always beats his mandatory defences?

The hw division outside of wlad, vitali, haye, solis and chambers is ****. Whilst they are legitimately ranked top ten opponents out there they are shitter at the weight.

    ok
Explain to me why Denis Boytsov is rated #2 based on most of the guys he fought arent even ranked in the top 100?

    as for the WBA
the same WBA that has all kinds of mandatories for Haye but Guillermo Jones sat inactive for 24 months and somehow kept his WBA cruiserweight title
    :huh

The win over Bidenko was better than Maddalone by quite a bit.

if his claim to fame is "Bidenko" then its a sad day for boxing if thats what makes him a bad ass and ranked #2 in the WBA world and deemed credible....
the guy has fought ****, beat alot of ****, and apparently has no balls to fight a top 25 guy.......hes peter mcneely right now...
