Why was Calzaghe beating Lacy considered such a big win for Calzaghe?

I didnt care for the fight...I wasnt exactly sold on Lacy and I didnt think much of Joe back then either...I didnt pick a winner to answer your question...but thats still doesnt erase the fact that you stans, try to belittle fighters then turn around and big them up to make your fighter look good!:rofl:rofl:rofl The laughs on you...because you're the main Calzaghe stan that belittle American fighters to only try to big them up when Calzaghe's resume in brought into question... Just look at you and look at what you're gonna respond with!

 

99% of yankee doodlers were laughing prior to fight time predicting JC`s destruction. The next day the board was like a f*cking desert. Priceless. My how I laughed.

C was the best out of all the fighters at that time and the win over Lacy couldnt of come at a better time for him, which launched his career big time and got him known in the States, It was a real schooling, considering it was a unification fight i dont think its fair to knock Joe.C's win and that is why its considered a big win.
A question For Jeff M......... ' is a unification fight classed as a big fight', and if the fighter wins it is this not a big win?

hagler has always been my avatar, i told you i had big respect for the american fighters in the 80s and 90s like hagler, leonard, holmes, tyson. its this revolting new breed of american boxer that repulses me, hype jobs with fragile glass hearts.

I dont class Lacy or any boxer who has got to world level as a hype job, i think he was the best out of a bad bunch is that fair to say, the division wasnt great back then?
