Not true. I don't really care for Bernard Hopkins or Shane Mosley.

I'm black and I dont like Judah and several other black fighters so whats your point really of bringing up race anyways? Its makes your arguement look weak when your resort to that ****...Hell, I've seen and met several black people that hate Floyd so again how is this a valid point?:patsch

Its always dudes like you that kill me...Boxing has shown this for the longest but you only choose to call it wrong with Blacks, but Peurto Rican, Pinoys, Mexican and many, many cultures have done this...Thats why its just better to leave the race factor out because its not going to better what your point is!:verysad

Same reason I root for Kobe. I root for him because he is good at what he does. I got my own life can't be bothered worry about what the next man does.

Question for the OP though, what fighters do you "root" for?

Check this out..His main reason for not liking Mayweather is that he beats on women...I can understand that because I dont condone that **** myself...but then he has the audacity to say he likes Edwin Valero who did the most cowardly thing a man could do...Beat on his mother and wife and then murder his wife..Too top it off he commits suicide because he couldnt handle the heat but doesnt say jack **** about that.:patsch

    DUDE

    seriously who cares?

you should only care about what a fighter does in the ring

most fans have no interest in a fighters personal life & thats how it should be

Look, most of us appreciate the talent of Floyd. We know that his talent is supreme that very few can match. We watch his fights but it doesn't mean that we are his fans. His character is too much to bear. He retired when there are fights to be made. So why are you still defending him? That is the original question.

Name the defenders of Floyd in this site. What conclusion do you get?

Nobody would take Artest, that probably would have been the first option but it's not gonna happen

For all Mayweather fans please let me help you out. There is a reason why so many people can't grasp the fact that you like this guy. This far in to the game if you are defending him then you have to somehow justify his actions in your own head. He has ****ed up time and time again in so many different ways, many of which make him out to look despicable. This late in to his career, after so many PR disasters for him, if you are still standing by and defending him then in a sense you are condoning his actions. This is why people do not understand how he can still have fans.
Before everyone starts saying "Who cares what he does outside of the ring I like him as a fighter", I understand this. There comes a point however when someones life outside of the ring (whether you like it not) follows that person wherever they go, including in the squared circle.
