I constantly hear that Floyd has problems with them! That **** is absolutely false and ******ed! First before any of you come with his father doesn't like him to fight them you must take notice in what I am about to tell you. Roger Mayweather- "My brother doesn't know how to train against Southpaws" Why you think his son trains with me? Floyd Sr basically trained Hatton as if Hatton was going to be fighting an Orthodox fighter. LMAO! Now if I am not mistaken, Floyd has fought 5 Southpaws as a pro and has lost 3 to 4 rounds max against them and those rounds came against Judah. Now please bring the gifs of Judah catching him coming in and knocking him back. Lets look at Judah. Zab Judah and Floyd have known each other for years and have sparred for many years as kids in the Amateurs and as Professionals. They know each other very well inside that ring. You might also want to bring up the Corley fight when Corley caught him exchanging and stunned him. Just make sure you show that round in your response to this thread so that you can see that Floyd came right back and stunned him and won the round. Floyd's second fight as a pro was against a Southpaw. Now you may also want to show the sparring session with Paul Spadofora as well. Please share with us that Floyd had not been in a boxing gym for 8 months and was out of shape. Now for all you ESB poster who have boxed before know that sparring is not about kicking ass and taking names. Its about putting in work and getting some rounds in. I'm gonna wait until Floyd fights a world class South Paw before i make my decision. If only there was one around now to prove it against. hmmmm
The dude in your avatar has arms that are too short for his body, coincidentally you often ride the short bus. Go figure!
Make fun of me all you want, But I'll be dammed if i'm gonna let you talk crap about Matthew Mcconaughey :bbb:bbb:bbb
Yes, you are talking about the guy that is afraid of random testing with no cut off and will probably only have to give blood 3 to 4 times over the course of 6 to 8 weeks. :|
Here's watch this fight against Reggie sanders! Floyd got a gift against a Journey man. Fans booing the decision! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwQQEHpkt1k[/ame]
Pac is 3-4 levels above any of the southpaws Floyd has ever faced. And Zab Judah winning 4 rounds off Floyd is nothing for Floyd to be proud of. And Floyd being knocked down by Judah is not a good omen. Not to mention getting caught so bad by a journeyman in the Corley fight.
The thing is, I have Floyd's entire career. That fight is so damn weird because he is KILLING guys in his 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, etc. EASY. Not getting hit, destroying them, 1st and 2nd round KOs, some with records MUCH better than Sanders.. He looks COMPLETELY DIFFERENT against Sanders, not the same fighter at all. The left handed stance GIVES HIS DEFENSE PROBLEMS. Unfortunately, the swarming style is the only one that makes him feel uncomfortable, and all the southpaws he's fought have been boxers or boxer punchers, and he is just better in that department because the style favors him even though the angle doesn't. He gets hit more against Corley, against Zab, against Sanders, and purportedly against Spadofara, but none of those guys have a stylistic problem for Floyd, who is more uncomfortable early against Chavez, Hatton, Castillo, but he could block all their stuff and hit them whenever he wanted, so he deserved those victories too.
Well would you like me to show Manny getting knocked down by journeyman and getting knocked out by bums? We can go there if you like. Floyd won 8 out of 4 rounds against Judah and thats not a bad night. At least he didn't get a draw. Also styles make fights and Judah and Manny may both be Southpaw but they have two totally different styles. We shall see how Manny handles a slick boxer. We know how Morales handled Raheem after Morales beat Manny. LMAO!!
Floyd beat Judah 9-3 to 3, had him swollen and bloody. Floyd beat Chop Chop 12-0, dropped him twice. Floyd Stopped Mitchell in 6. If that's struggling with southpaws, then yeah I guess he struggles with them in route to wide UD's and stoppage wins.
