Hmmmmm... I think I'll take Chris by a close decision.

 

It could have been made as a unification fight if all parties had been willing!

 

I think Byrd is all wrong for Brewster... A prime Chris Byrd wins a wide decision. Although you have to give Brewster a punchers chance.

I'd pick Byrd in landslide win. Brewster was lazy and would often go for a KO instead of winning rounds, and I don't see Brewster knocking Byrd out.

 

Brewster would have a solid chance on any given night, but I'd pick Byrd to outbox him 8 out of 10 times.

Why do you think this is a close matchup?? Brewster was lazy and just relied on his power. No way this is a close fight either Byrd wins almost every round, or Brewster lands a hail mary... But that wouldnt happen Byrd is to slick, and Brewster was no Ike Ibeabuchi.

 

Byrd would school Brewster. Brewster was decent against guys who would fight him, but overall he was pretty limited.

Byrd historically loved guys like Brewster. Big guys coming forward and pushing for knockouts.

Unless Brewster can trap and catch him with some heavy leather, I like Byrd here.
