Complete BS. Murray was offered the fight severall times, along with Thaxton. Most notably he turned it down and Khan faced Prescott instead at the MEN.
He said it would be a mismatch then and I still think he'd see it that way. He's not tried pushing Murray in to a fight with khan yet so there's no need for speculation and bitching. Plus if warren does say Murray can beat him he's just playing at his usual games. He does see Murray having enough quality to win a world title though you'd think.

John Murray doesnt deserve to be in the same ring with Khan. He would get obliterated like Salita!!!!!! Record is padded with bums of the highest callibre. He is nothing more than a pub fighter, a plodder whatever you want to call it.
