That is what i thought because Coldwell is actually a promoter in his own right the only thing is according to the scene Booths bid was bigger anyway.....:think

Seems legit, Gareth Williams just posted it on Groves fb page. Interesting bid tactics by Hayemaker and high bids from both parties. If Haye fights in London in May this might actually happen then? Find it unlikely but we're boxing fans optimism is all we have

I wouldn't be shocked if DeGale now vacates to fight for the Euro or a lower belt holder.

huh...if hayemaker really doesnt want the fight then its a bit of a risky strategy isnt it?
I mean what if Warren calls the ''bluff''

Strange that Groves didn't take that £50,000 from Warren when it was offered 6 short months ago....;)

I'm skeptical. 400k? How the **** is this fight going to generate that much?

Both fighters and promoters should just get it on now... If either of them backs out (I don't care what they could potentially be going on to fight for) it is going to look terrible. This fight has had about as much hype as it's ever going to get. 6 months ago a lot of people had Groves to win by KO. Now, 2 fights later for each, everyone is behind DeGale- a fact which only makes the fight 10 times more interesting.
It's a very risky strategy for Hayemaker if they are calling FW's bluff, as it's a massive payday (even for DeGale) and a huge opportunity for Groves to silence his critics.

They could always do it now and rematch later.

Groves' current style renders him a KO waiting to happen..... until he leaves Booth for a trainer that will tighten his defence up he'll have no chance against a fighter like DeGale I'm afraid.

Even Ricky Hatton was harder to hit than Groves is right now :nut

I think Warren is DeGales manager.

DeGale will want it. Its Groves in London and he will be getting £250k!!!

Degale is fighting Sartisan mate. Just spoke to Degales cousin and it is 100% Sartisan. Degale is in spain doing altitude training at the moment.
