Looking at the entries for the Nationals, big numbers and great strenght in depth at most weights, sometimes 3-4 international class boxers in a weight class. Notable missing(so far?) Quigley, Donnelly, McMonigle and also Reynolds(though not surprisingly in Alan's case). Winners? Paddy, any of the four at fly!, Nevin, DO, Hickey, McLoughlin, O'Neill, Egan, Sheehan and Turner(if no McMonigle)...oh and damn it, I go Geraghty at fly. Probably will be Burnett, Lindberg, Donovan, Moylette, Joyce, O'Kane(or Quigley) McCarthy and Tommy Sheehan to spite me! Cant go against Paddy or Con Sheehan winning no matter how I try. PS No McCullough, Sutcliffe, Joe Ward, Gallagher or Roy Sheehan in that lot-some class pool of boxers.
nationals look great this year, 81 has really heated up with the addition of joe ward and david joe joyce, i doubt it will be a egan mccarthy final like the previous two years, joyce and ward have the beatings of mccarthy

yeah that £180 deal that I mention was based on £50 tickets. Yeah, I though Eddie Hearn was the star of the show today at the presser, he is a very astute guy and he gave Asif a lesson on boxing promotions. I fear you are right about only £75 tickets left as it was stated by the HBO guy at the beginning that 'a few categories had already been sold out'. To my mind Team Khan have pulled a flanker, as anyone knows the cheapest tickets are the easiest to sell and they have offloaded the dearer ones to McCloskey. My money I will be happy to pay £75 for my ticket as at least you will have a good view. I heard the cheaper tickets have a terrible view to the action. I bought the cheap seats for Dunne-Poonsawat and the you were up in the Gods - I wouldnt do it again. The MEN is twice the size so those cheap seats must be far worse (in terms of view).
I wouldnt be surprised if he lost to ward the problem with mccarthy is he wouldnt take the fight seriously and that could be his undoing :deal
Some are being sold from Francies house at the moment. "Theres a big crowd about and limited tickets though" is what I've been told. Maybe some more lower priced tickets have been released today and Dudey has been given them to quell the panic amongst the Dudey fans? A lot of people will have lost the rag and got their tickets from ticketmaster instead :-(
I think that will work in McCloskeys favour - I have a feeling that the Irish are going to take over the MEN. All the irish living in england, scotland that like their boxing will go - and thousands from go via Belfast and Dublin:happy
bad form again on team khans but prob no harm in the grand scheme of things. as you said these cheaper tickets are supposed to be **** poor and as we're making the effort to travel over its prob worthwhile to invest in decent seats. its a win win situation for khan, if mccloskey shifts the tickets - happy days. if he doesn't he can be accused by khan of not being popular enough to sell his 'allocation'
"We are waiting on our 2nd batch of tickets from team khanThe small batch they gave us have sold out.We will get more!sorry for trouble" Dudey's twitter. TK acting the maggot already....?
