Oh well he's lost weight now he may as well fight at LH against AT. BJ took the money $$$$$ his choice.
BJ said that he was told 195LB or no fight, he wanted to fight so he took it and he says he didnt even know if he could make the weight but your right imo, he took the money. Still i dont think it would have made much diffrence he didnt press the fight enough but it still doesnt take away from what Dannyweight has done. he is a con artist, pawning himself off as a crusierweight champion of the WORLD but its only Danny and Hyders money making world they are champions of, ANY of the current crusierweight title holders would hand Danny his ass and spleen any day of the week and they know it. His next retirment is on the horizon BJ was a hard fight when he should have been easy, thats what happens when you get put in with a REAL crusierweight, umm see lol
No need for further discussion here - it's obviously Leon's fault that Flores went in light against Danny.
you must be on stupid pills tonight buddie? no one suggested its Leons fault for anything dckhead. The only thing suggested was that he was lied to. wanker
just a sht dribbler then as suspected all along lol .. ill get the article today and check it out, thanks for your neutral perspective on the matter toss pot.
you are really stupid hey? i stated orignally i had not read the article, come up with something orignal idiot. I based my comments on what i currently know, if "the source is the source" was in this article as stated by someone else inthis thread and Danny denies any weight incentives then Leon was lied to. Can you get that through that pea brain of yours?
Leon McShanag - paid with a pass and access to the event, have you been paid cash for any fist articles (De mori interview) ? At first I thought havebeen was talking about the write about Green v Dean 2, who wrote that one?
So now you say he beat a decent crwt, so obv you are now admitting Green is a decent crwt. yet again tccoxsuka having a bit each way.
yeah u can say he beat a decent CW that had not fought in 18 months and was imposed weight restrictions to drop a further 5LB from the 200LB CW Limit. i dont buy the fist as its a propaganda publication, the owner believes Danny can defeat Haye etc, you wont read anything neutral in that magazine, anything thats subjective would be edited out. Including Leons article if he had the balls to write anything subjective in it.
The fight was at Dannyweight and Green's team did a brilliant job spinning to the media initially in the lead-up how Danny was facing a true Crusierweight, "maybe even weight as much as Heavyweight on the night" was the call from good ole' honest Angelo, but then turned it in the last 48hrs to "BJ wants the extra cash so I gave him an incentive" say's media man Danny Green. Please refer the following article and the link is attached. The last paragraph tells the story of 'Dannyweight'. Maybe Danny should have reminded BJ to not blow the script! http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sp...with-danny-green/story-e6freygr-1225955834617 BRASH American BJ Flores wants another crack at Danny Green - and will fight on his undercard to get it. The Daily Telegraph can reveal Flores - who gave Australia's IBO cruiserweight champ his toughest fight since emerging from retirement two years ago - is tipped to be back in Australia next year fighting on a Green Machine Promotions event. While the outgoing Las Vegan is gunning for a rematch with the West Australian, it's understood contract clauses insist he would have to excel in one or two undercard events before any talk of a second title shot. "But I'd fight Danny Green again next month," Flores said when cornered at Perth airport yesterday. "I know Markus Beyer gave him a rematch so, having made so many fans here in Australia, maybe Team Green could do the same with me - but this time at a bigger stadium in Sydney. "You only had to see Danny after the bout to know what sort of fight I gave him. Check out his eye, his cheek, his jaw. I'm keen to get us fighting again and if, as part of our contract, that means me fighting on one of his undercards, I'd love to do it." Despite starting as a $5 outsider with bookies, Flores attacked Green all night in a bout that was closer than the judges' scorecards of 116-112, 117-111 and 116-112. "But it just wasn't enough to win in his home town," Flores shrugged. "Unfortunately, the close rounds, they all went to Danny. And that's because he's a cagey fighter, a smart fighter and against me he was the busier fighter, even if those punches weren't effective. "Honestly, people expected him to blow me over but I was never rocked, never saw stars. His trainer [Angelo Hyder] said Danny was going to cut me in half but the punches, they never hurt me." Asked about his Hollywood-style approach to the fight, the man dubbed El Peligroso added: "Everyone said 'oh, BJ Flores is all talk', said I was just another cocky American. "But I think people would agree I backed it up because when was the last time you saw Danny Green forced to fight like that? I don't think he's ever been forced to move back like that over 12 rounds. "Actually, I was disappointed he was moving back the whole time because it felt like I was having to chase down the ferocious puncher. "It felt like if I didn't come forward I wouldn't have got a fight. He felt a couple of my punches early and didn't want to come forward, so I tried to make the fight." Flores said a strong overhand right he struck Green with in the fifth almost turned the bout. "But he's very cagey," Flores said. "I came to his home town, This content is protected And despite the fact everyone always talks about his power, I was never rocked, never hurt."
