Wasnt Salido the one who lost his titles in his last fight because he came in overweight?

No, he didn't He held the IBF title which has the rule that no fighter under IBF rules can re-hydrate over 10lbs by fight night. Salido broke the rule, so he actually lost the belt on fight night, but what the funny thing was that Gamboa also gained over 10lbs, but he somehow still won the belt?

Do not be shocked if Salido stops Lopez late.

Your a little incorrect there. The IBF rule for weight gain is taken on the morning of the fight. Hence you can actually be whatever it is you want to be in the ring that night, but on the morning of the fight (designated time by the officials) you can be only a maximum of 10lbs over the weigh-in limit.

Obviously JML will be wanting to make a statement/prove a point in this fight over Gamboa by trying to stop Lopez very early.

Lopez, getting some big fights. I hope he banks his money very well!

Lopez should be careful not to fall again into the Mtgwa trap...he was so dehydrated at the fight that he run out of gas the last 2 rds....and let me tell you, Salido is better than Mtagwa.
